HAVE YOU BUILT YOUR FORCE FIELD YET?

| AUGUST 5, 2019    KASSI UNDERWOOD

I’ve been very busy cultivating a force field that stops traffic. If you have not already cultivated such a force field, please get to doing so immediately. It is the best.
I’ve noticed that many of you don’t know how to say no, so in relationships you become skittish and resentful when someone asks you to do something you don’t want to do. You either cut and run or get serious faster than you were comfortable with (and sometimes even MARRY the sucker!!) even though in your heart you just wanted to have fun dating.
No. Just say it. Allow them to have their own experience with your no. Let them be uncomfortable if they need to be. Ask the universe to undo any sorrow or confusion or feelings of rejection in their minds.
Say no and then build the emotional and spiritual muscles to allow others their own discomfort. I found that sitting down in meditation and picturing someone being uncomfortable with my no — yet allowing them to feel this way and sending them lightbeams of love — is what it looked like to lift this free weight of the soul.
Then, of course, once you’ve built the muscle, nobody will ever give you reason to say that particular no again. The irony! How do you do with no? Easy, hard?
